Island Travel Podcast
Islands are ideal for travel and in this podcast travelers share stories and tips from their travels to exotic islands across the world. Over time I found myself gravitating towards islands for a variety of reasons that we explore in these podcast episodes. Episodes will be 15-20 minutes, come out weekly, and feature one guest speaking about an island, or group of islands, they visited and will share their "on the ground" knowledge. I worked in the travel industry for several years and have traveled to over 70 countries. I am the author of the book "Internet Revolution: A Generational Story" available on Amazon. Episode 8: Corsica - Travel Author Luke Edwards
•
Marc
British traveler Luke Edwards is author of "Travel Escapades: Adventures and Upsets Around the World" shares some stories from one of his favorite islands, Corsica.
Birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte, Corsica has some interesting history, including numerous pirate attacks and a very distinct local culture with strong French and Italian influences.
But for Luke, what makes the places most magical are the isolated beaches scattered around the edges and the mountainous hikes running through the middle of Corsica.
This is a great episode for people planning a first trip to Corsica, or if you want to relive some of that feeling you had when visiting, or you just want to daydream about a Mediterranean island with ideal climate.
